Lab Manager
      (ref. no. 2022.05.0001)

      Your responsibilities include maintenance of the biochemical laboratory with particular emphasis on orchestrating the work of laboratory technicians, upkeeping the functionality of laboratory equipment, and taking care of lab orders and lab cleanliness. 

       

      Duties and responsibilities:

      • Orchestrating the work of lab associates, e.g. technical staff
      • Assists with and supervises the maintenance of the lab and equipment
      • Performing a variety of general and laboratory-specific administrative duties 
      • Contact vendors to provide demo and/or maintenance services
      • Intervention in the event of equipment faults and contact with the services
      • Contact suppliers regarding the infrastructural issues
      • Organization and maintenance of the inventory
      • Introducing new employees to the laboratory organization
      • Upkeeping high lab cleanliness standards
      • Establishing standard operating procedures, creating and managing lab-related documentation
      • Ensuring that staff members comply with all laboratory rules and regulations, including health and safety policies

       

      Requirements

      • Minimum secondary education: biotechnology, cell biology, molecular biology or related,
      • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in a related work position,
      • Communicative English,
      • Exceptional communication skills
      • Exceptional organizational skills
      • Ability to multitask
      • Great attention to detail, aesthetics, and cleanliness
